Mission

We each have something to offer to another person, be it time, talent or treasure. Look deeply inside of yourself and see what you have that you can offer another person. What can you teach that someone else would love to learn? What amount of time can you volunteer to help another — an hour a week, an hour a month? Each hour is a gift. Each minute that you offer to another without expecting anything in return is a gift twofold.

If you have treasure to offer in the form of materials, money, items that you are not using that others might need, job opportunities, anything that you have that is no longer of use to you that others could use, give it freely and happily knowing that your generosity can make all the difference to another person.

Speak kind words. Reach out to people that you don’t know. Take the time to hold a door, tote a grocery bag, help out a neighbor or someone that you have not met. One act of kindness leads to another. Take care of the people in your community as you take care of yourself. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
