How We Help

Humanity House Foundation offers a range of supportive services to meet the basic needs of individuals and families in Allen County. From access to our food pantry and free laundry services to utility bill payment assistance and employment support through our SUCCEED program, we’re here to help people facing hardship regain stability and move forward.

We also assist with online applications for Kansas Department for Children and Families programs—including food, cash, medical, and energy assistance (LIEAP)—as well as applications for replacement Social Security cards and birth certificates. For individuals with limited income, we offer help filing taxes and Kansas Homestead refund applications.

In addition, our community garden provides hundreds of pounds of fresh produce each year, and we offer free empowering workshops, grief support group, classes and community events—including our Together We Can program, which helps participants move from simply surviving to creating lasting change. Every service we provide is rooted in compassion and a belief that kindness matters.

The Drop-In Center

The Drop-In Center is a welcoming space to reconnect with others in the community—meet a friend, enjoy a cup of coffee, play a board game, or simply have a conversation. This center is dedicated to easing loneliness and isolation by fostering connection, comfort, and community. Stop in and see us—you’re always welcome here.
