Humanity House’s Annual Christmas Celebration
Friday night was something truly special. Thank you to every adult who brought their little ones to see Santa and choose a gift. The laughter, the excitement, and the simple joy of being together made it a night we won’t forget.
Our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible support of this community. We are deeply grateful to Waters Hardware in Iola for hosting the toy drive, to Second Chance Bikers for delivering toys with such generosity, to CCT in Independence for their amazing support and donations, and to Miller Monument in Iola for the many toys and food they provided. And to every individual who purchased or donated a toy or food item for the Christmas boxes—thank you. There were so many people who stepped up that it’s impossible to name everyone, but please know how much it meant.
Not a single toy went to waste. Gifts not chosen Friday night were later picked up by parents and grandparents, each one meant for a child who will feel that kindness this Christmas.
This is what community looks like—people showing up for one another. We are truly thankful to be part of it.
